Sempre (Forever, #1) - J.M. Darhower I would even know where to begin to review Sempre. It was phenomenal.
The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars, was the ending. Is this a stand alone?

Brilliantly written, and utterly heartbreaking in parts. Haven's story was truly terrifying. Told from three points of view, Haven who was 'rescued' after enduring a life of abuse as a slave. Carmine, the son of a made man who was living life recklessly and his father Vincent.

It's disturbing, violent, but countered with unbelievably tender scenes, as Haven enters the DeMarco, changing their lives and her's in the process.
